Join the 2026 Black Bear Bonanza in Bentonville Arkansas

On March 7, 2026, Backcountry Hunters & Anglers is hosting the annual Black Bear Bonanza at the Benton County Fairgrounds in Bentonville Arkansas. This family friendly event celebrates Arkansas’ black bears and outdoor heritage with education, entertainment, games, contests, food, and community activities for all ages. You will hear from conservation leaders, connect with like-minded outdoors enthusiasts, explore exhibits from top brands supporting public lands, and enjoy local food and beverages. Camping options are available on site for the weekend. Tickets are $12 Pre Event and $15 at the door and kids 15 and under free.

GRTU’s Troutfest TX is the largest event of its kind in Texas and brings out a crowd of over 4,000 people interested in fly fishing and preserving and protecting cold water fisheries. For 2026, we’re reimagining Troutfest as “Mend the River,” a focused one-day event dedicated to supporting our Guadalupe River community’s recovery from the devastating July floods.

A Celebration of Texas Fly Fishing

Join anglers and conservation minded outdoorsmen on February 21 from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Rio Anglers Resort for the Friends of the Fish Fair, a one day gathering focused on Texas fly fishing and community.

The event features the Trout Derby, Guadalupe Casting Cup, and the Tie-A-Thon, bringing together skill, education, and friendly competition. Sponsored by Wimberley Valley Dental, Alamo Anglers, The Grateful Angler, Jesus’ Heavenly BBQ, New Braunfels Fly Fishers, and the Guadalupe River Fly Fishing Guides Association.
